For starters there are two modern shopping centres - Livingston Designer Outlet Centre and The Centre (new window) - which between them, offer hundreds of brand names in fashion, sportswear, footwear and interiors.
Then there are Linlithgow, Bathgate and Broxburn town centres; each one offering a combination of High Street names and specialist shops. A traditional thrice weekly market takes place in Bathgate as well as a Farmers Markets in Linlithgow.
