Closed - The Uphall and Broxburn town centre management group have been working with an artist for the past few months to design a work of art that reflects the culture and aspirations of the residents of both towns. Local people are being urged to come along and meet the artist, Mike Johnson, for a community consultation session on Tuesday 16 August. The session will take place at the Strathbrock Partnership Centre foyer from 9am to 12noon and also at Oatridge Hotel foyer, Uphall from 1pm to 4pm

Residents will be given the opportunity to have their say on where they think the artwork could be located.  There will be a scaled model of the intended artwork, as well as some background information about the art activities carried out by local school children.  There will also be a selection of photographs of potential locations for the artwork.  Residents will be asked to choose which one of the six locations they think would suit the artwork best. Organisers would also welcome the input of local school children into choosing a location for the artwork.
